The website and application, their structure, texts, graphic design, code, and editorial selection are protected by intellectual property law. This includes, in particular: the 219 addresses and routes, the 10 themed routes, the listings for 120 pizzerias and street food addresses, the 99 cultural points of interest, the Naples metro module, the pizza dough calculator, as well as the content on Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

The name "Slice of Napoli", the logo and the visual identity are the property of the publisher.

Photographs from the guide

The guide includes 458 photographs. A significant part of it is the work of the publisher, Guillaume Fingar, and remains its property. The others come from Wikimedia Commons, Pexels, AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) and the establishments themselves.

Each photograph not belonging to the publisher remains the property of its author and is used only under the terms of its license. The corresponding credit is displayed in the application, next to the image in question.

If you are the author or rights holder of a photograph and the credit seems incomplete, incorrect, or the use does not correspond to your license, write to ciao@sliceofnapoli.com. The credit will be corrected, or the photograph removed, in the next update.

Map data and guide data

  • Naples Metro and Funiculars — The data for the 41 stations, 4 metro lines, and 4 funiculars comes from OpenStreetMap. © OpenStreetMap contributors, data made available under license Open Database License (ODbL).
  • map background — The tiles are provided by Esri, via server.arcgisonline.com: World Imagery, World Dark Gray Base, World Dark Gray Reference And World Street Map. The terrain data is loaded from the elevation tile set hosted on Amazon S3 (s3.amazonaws.com/elevation-tiles-prod). Displaying a map therefore requires a connection to these providers: this point is detailed in the privacy policy.
  • AVPN Certification — The name «Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana» and its associated certification belong to the AVPN. The guide simply lists certified establishments, including 88 pizzerias. Slice of Napoli is not published by the AVPN.
  • Selection and writing — the choice of addresses, the writing of the fact sheets and the construction of the itineraries are the work of the publisher.

Software libraries

The map display is based on MapLibre GL JS, an open-source library, a copy of which is embedded in the application. The licenses of the open-source components used are retained along with their code.

Links to third-party sites

The website and guide link to third-party sites: establishments, transportation options, cultural institutions, and data sources. These links are provided for your convenience. The publisher has no control over these sites, their content, or their data processing practices, and cannot be held responsible for them. It is your responsibility to review their respective legal notices and privacy policies.

Accuracy of information

The practical information in this guide—schedules, fares, addresses, and availability of transport lines—is subject to change and may become inaccurate between updates. It is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment from the publisher.

An error can be reported from the application, using the "Suggest an improvement" function, or by email to ciao@sliceofnapoli.com.
